Oubliette

Oubliette (Full title: 'Oubliette; or, a place to put people to forget about them.') is our debut album, set to be released on March 31st 2024. Its title and subtitle are a reference to Labyrinth (1986), as the subtitle is taken from a line Hoggle says after Sarah falls into an Oubliette. The album cover is a colour-graded image of the Bristol cityscape from Mylo's window at night.

We chose these themes due to the prominence of Oubliettes in gothic literature. Their name comes from the french word 'Oublier,' meaning 'to forget.' They are a type of dungeon, which we are using to represent the want to lock away, forget, about our hardship and the things that cause it.
